Janet Lanham
Janet has over thirty years of healthcare experience in acute hospital, health plan, and ambulatory care settings. She has deep expertise in medical management in both provider and payor settings. Janet's experience includes:
- Developing medical management programs for Medicaid and long term care plans
- Serving as Interim Director of Care Management for a large regional medical center
- Implementing integrated care management models for several large and medium hospitals
- Developing programs for the delivery of integrated care management models
- Assisting with the implementation of patient flow initiative programs focusing on maximizing capacity and reducing ED diversion
- Creating case management system that focused on "effectiveness indicators" as opposed to member satisfaction for a large payor
- Developing an on-site concurrent review program focusing on length of stay reduction and admission avoidance strategies
- Performing numerous assessments of hospital utilization and medical management functions
- Performing multiple assessments and implementation projects for operational improvements, process redesign, information system selection (both practice management as well as medical management systems), or contracting requirements
Additionally, Janet has held numerous senior clinical management positions in acute care hospitals, ambulatory care settings and managed care organizations.
Janet received her B.B.A. in Business Administration from Kennesaw State College in Georgia and her R.N. from Barnes Hospital School of Nursing in St. Louis.
